20:59 27 March in Family Practice News

All GP clinics including ours are now in Level 4 alert mode. This means no walk in services, please phone, email, use the website contact form, or use the portal to contact us before turning up.

Many services are being done outside to reduce contamination, but we are still bringing people in if required, we are trying to maintain privacy.

We are doing flu vaccinations for those over 65 first, and those with significant health conditions. Message us if you think you fall into that category. Recalls have gone out this week. Supplies are coming and going so be patient. There is minimal flu circulating, and the fluvax does not protect against coronavirus.

See our front page regarding testing. Those with symptoms who attended the Wanaka Show, or work in tourism, are now included in the eligibility criteria for testing. Phone Health line or call us for advice on this, you require a referral to a test clinic. Testing criteria is changing frequently.

We are now set up for Video consults, you can indicate this on the portal when booking. Click here to begin your video consult. It is very easy on any device, no software needs to be downloaded.
